I saw this on sale at gamersgate and it said right there that there was LAN fun to be had. I only have the old version of it installed on steam, so when I tried to back that up to install on my other computer, it kept telling me that I already had it installed, but couldn't install it. I have the worlds worst internet and I can't play on the internet, let alone download the new version which I can't play anyway. How can I install the old LAN version on steam? Can I just move over a folder or something? I know that disk version have LAN.

But steam version? I had Company of Heroes on my main PC for a long time, it has the original version that I got from Steam when I bought it. Then, sometime between that happening and just a couple days ago, they took away LAN support.

I was given Company of Heroes as a gift, and I installed it. As I go into the game to play, everything is locked, and it says I need a valid CD Key. You should consider to submit your own serial numbers or share other files with the community just as someone else helped you with Company of Heroes:Opposing Fronts serial number. People who bought the game after that, like I did, can only download the 'Steam version' which doesn't have LAN. If I had suitable connection to play online I wouldn't really mind, but I'm stuck now. [EDIT: Oh, I bought a second copy to install onto my laptop (which is on another account) so I could play it with my nephew when he comes over. I kind of got him into WWII games and thought Company of Heroes would be a bunch of fun].
